The short chain of Pitti & Friends is achieved first of all thanks to the many products of the estate Torre a Cenaia, former property of the Pitti Family.
With its 500 hectares of uninterrupted forests, lakes and fields dotted with old farmhouses, it has always been a reference point for the agricultural economy of the surrounding area.
Real natural reserve and a place of refuge for local wildlife and migratory birds, it has preserved over the centuries the perfect balance between man and nature that made famous the harmonious Tuscan landscape all over the world
Since the XI century, when people began to clean up and cultivate the lands surrounding the ancient village, Torre a Cenaia has been an agricultural active and productive center, but only the Count Robert Pitti invested in the wine tradition of the place, from that point it has become the banner of the small town in province of Pisa.
Today the estate produces wine, beer, olive oil and other food products, first of all the cold cuts prepared with pork meat coming from internal breeding.
In addition there are bread and fresh pasta made directly in the Osteria.
Pitti & Friends can offer several dishes at the perfect kilometer zero: the distance between producers and consumers has never been so short!
